We are looking for you to start in Q1 2026 for our Delivery Center in Zagreb!

As a Team Lead in our future Data & AI Consulting entity in Kroatien, you will play a key role in shaping and leading our operations. You will manage and coach a growing team of consult-ants, be actively involved in project delivery, and serve as the bridge between our fully in the company integrated team in Croatia and our international teams.

This role combines hands-on consulting work, operational team management, and relationship building - both internally and externally. You’ll foster collaboration across borders, strengthen the local team’s capabilities, and help establish our presence in Croatia as part of our international Data & AI consulting organization.

Your mission

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of consultants working on international Data & AI projects
• Be visibly present and available for your team, providing day-to-day guidance and support
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and promote professional development through feedback and mentoring
• Ensure clear role definition, smooth communication, and effective collaboration across projects
• Support onboarding and create an engaging, growth-oriented team environment

Operational & Project Delivery

• Manage the daily operations of the local team, ensuring resource efficiency and delivery excellence
• Actively contribute to client projects (on average, 4 days per week) taking on roles in data science or data engineering
• Oversee project progress, quality, and timelines, and intervene when challenges arise
• Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the local face to customers both in-ternationally and within Croatia
• Ensure project execution aligns with client expectations and overall business strat-egy

Bridge-Building & International Collaboration

• Act as the key connector between the Croatian team and international colleagues
• Build and maintain strong internal relationships with project leaders, sales, and technical experts
• Promote the capabilities and success stories of the Croatian team across the wider organization
• Drive alignment on delivery standards, processes, and collaboration models
• Encourage knowledge sharing and joint delivery across geographies and teams
• Recruitment, Employer Branding & Community Engagement
• Support recruitment efforts to attract top talent in the Croatian market
• Represent the company in front of universities, tech communities, and at industry events
• Contribute to building a strong employer brand and local presence in the Data & AI field
• Collaborate with HR and leadership to shape local talent development and reten-tion initiatives

Business Development & Operational Excellence

• Contribute to account and business development activities locally
• Identify opportunities to extend capabilities and optimize delivery operations
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs such as utilization, margins, and project health
• Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting in internal systems
• Provide regular updates on team performance, client engagement, and delivery outcomes

Your profile

Data is also in your DNA? You should bring the following:

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in IT consulting, ideally in Data & AI, analytics, or digital transformation
• Proven work experience in managing and leading a consulting team on a day-to-day basis
• Experience in working with relevant technologies and offerings in the field of Data & AI (e.g. Azure, AWS, Databricks) for clients locally or internationally
• Passion for Data Science & AI, relevant technologies, and their practical application
• Leadership and coaching mindset, with the ability to inspire and develop others
• Excellent operational management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities and experience working across interna-tional teams
• Background in cross-country delivery is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English, German is an additional asset
• Hands-on, pragmatic leader who enjoys being close to both people and working on projects
• Location: Zagreb (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
