Senior Power Device Expert (m/f/d)

Your tasks

As part of our passionate team, you will give excellent technical support to our automotive and industrial customers to support the adoption of our innovative semiconductor devices in their systems. The clear focus of your tasks is to drive the integration of power device chips into modern assemblies and supporting internal and external qualifications.

These include:

• As a leading technical expert for power semiconductor devices (chips) and the integration of these products in their environment (module, package, etc.) drive the successful adoption of our Silicon and Wide-Band-Gap devices into the target applications.
• Drive customer projects on technical level to convert opportunities into design / production wins.
• Monitor technical trends in power device technology and in the integration of power chips. Understand and communicate the resulting technical requirements for our products to marketing and development departments.
• Take an active involvement in technology and reliability discussions in industrial working groups.
• Represent the company as an author of technical articles and at events such as conferences.

Your profile

• Technical studies (M.Sc. / M.Eng. level) in Physics / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a related subject.
• Adequate years of professional experience in development, validation and qualification of power semiconductor chips and / or of power semiconductor modules for industrial and automotive applications.
• Experience with wide-band-gap semiconductors and expert knowledge of module interconnect technologies and resulting requirements for power device chips.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German and an open personality.
• Sales and customer orientation and a passion for innovation.
• Willingness to travel.
