To strengthen our team, we're looking for a Chief of Staff (f/m/d) who's ready to work closely with our Managing Director. You dig into topics, get the right people talking, and and stay on top of open items. In this role you bring solid know-how in corporate law, compliance, financing, and accounting to the materials, proposals, and advisor conversations you help shape. You run with things independently and need little guidance.

Responsibilities

• You prepare decisions for the Managing Director, working through the facts, laying out options, and producing materials and resolution proposals.
• You support processes owned by functional departments or external advisors, preparing the Managing Director's input, consolidating information, and organizing alignment.
• You coordinate participants, deadlines, and work status across departments, advisors, and countries.
• You follow up on open items and deadlines, flagging early when topics stall or drift apart.
• You take care of documentation and record keeping minutes, resolutions, deadline overviews, and tracking of commitments made.
• You independently handle clearly defined work packages on behalf of the Managing Director, working with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

• You hold a completed university degree in law, business, natural sciences, or comparable; a legal background is an advantage given the governance topics involved.
• You bring 3 to 6 years in management consulting, investment banking, a commercial law firm, audit, or a comparable role in a growing technology company.
• You have hands-on experience handling commercial, corporate law, or regulatory matters.
• You solve problems in a structured and analytical way.
• You coordinate and keep track across several topics, including reliable follow-up on open items until completion.
• You're confident with numbers: budget, forecast, fundamentals of financial accounting, and you're willing to get to grips with corporate law and tax questions.
• You have full professional proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
• You prepare complex matters precisely and concisely for the respective audience.
• You handle confidential shareholder, compensation, and transaction information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
• You stay calm and adaptable when priorities shift or things are unclear.
• You're ready to align your pace with the Managing Director's including occasional travel as needed.
• You're interested in deep tech and hardware; prior technical knowledge is not required.
